Right-click on the desktop
Select Create new --> CD/DVD-ROM Device
Click the third tab, DEVICE
Coose in the dropdown menu /dev/cdrom (/mnt/cdrom)
Thats it !

Without connected to the internet, connection on eth0 + eth1 will fail when you boot
eth0 = ethernet port
eth1 = airport port, wlan
adjust the setting for the two ports in
/etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-eth0
/etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-eth1

set setting ,onboot to no

Es ist geschafft. Danke an Freung Häg, der mir die 3 ISO-Images kurz vor dem Abflug noch runtergeladen u. gebrannt hat.
Yellow Dog Linux ist auf meinem iBook .
Die Installation war suuperleicht, und YDL ist coool...
